Snes9express Super Nintendo Emulator
In a new terminal execute:
$ sudo synaptic package manager
Search for Snes and mark snes9express for installation and apply.
You can run the emulator from Applications->Games.
Finding classic roms like the Mario games are a little difficult but should be available from torrent sites.
